Moijey Fine Jewelry & Diamonds Empowers Students through Moijey Mine to Finger 3D CAD Jewelry Program for Summer RISE

**Washington D.C. – [Date]** – Moijey Fine Jewelry & Diamonds, a Black-owned and US Army Veteran-owned global jewelry brand, is thrilled to announce the recent success of its Moijey Mine to Finger 3D Jewelry Program for the Montgomery County Public Schools’ (MCPS) Summer RISE initiative. The 2-week long pilot program aimed to empower MCPS high school students with jewelry craftsmanship through computer-aided design (CAD) and knowledge about gemstones.

The highlight of the program was the hands-on experience students got with the Moijey 3D jewelry design software and ultimately crafting their very own gemstone jewelry. This hands-on activity, aligned with the subject matter of the book “My Crystal Powers,” authored by Moijey Fine Jewelry & Diamonds’ President and CEO, Dan Moijueh.  As a token of appreciation, each student received a complimentary copy of the book, further igniting their interest in gemstones and jewelry.

Daniel Moijueh, the driving force behind Moijey Fine Jewelry & Diamonds, said, “We believe that education is the key to empowerment, and through the Moijey Mine to Finger 3D Jewelry Program, we are delighted to provide students with valuable knowledge about gemstones and jewelry through our CAD program. Our instructors – Cynthia Bardwell, Kerriann Gayle and Dawna Phillips – were the key to this pilot program’s success. We couldn’t have done this without these skilled and very capable ladies.”

Daniel continued, “Our commitment to our community extends beyond jewelry sales, and this program is a testament to our dedication to education and giving back.”

Closing ceremonies culminated at the Bethesda North Marriot Hotel & Conference Center where all Moijey Mine to Finger 3D Jewelry Program student participants received certificates of completion from the host program. Included in the guest speakers were Summer RISE founder Will Jawando and Maryland Lieutenant Governor Aruna Miller who delivered the keynote address.

Moijey Fine Jewelry & Diamonds continues to be at the forefront of promoting education, knowledge, and superior craftsmanship in the jewelry industry. The success of the Moijey Mine to Finger 3D CAD Jewelry Program reinforces the brand’s dedication to creating a positive impact in the lives of young learners. As such the host company has established the Mine to Finger 3D CAD Academy with its first courses scheduled to start this coming September 2023. All certificate holders of the Summer RISE the Moijey Mine to Finger 3D Jewelry Program will be eligible to apply for these advanced courses.
